.Net Software developer

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a well-established Northern Ireland organisation to recruit a Software Developer with experience in Proclaim to join their growing internal technology team.

This is a newly created role and this hire will play a key role in shaping how the platform evolves moving forward.

You’ll join a collaborative IT function made up of software developers and dedicated Proclaim specialists, working closely with stakeholders across the business on workflow improvements, integrations, reporting and ongoing system development.

This role would suit someone with hands‑on Proclaim experience who wants to take ownership in a highly visible position within a stable, long-established business.

• Configure and develop within the Proclaim case management platform
• Design and improve workflows, linked actions, templates and screen layouts
• Build and maintain integrations between Proclaim and third‑party systems
• Create and schedule Proclaim queries and advanced reports
• Work alongside internal developers on wider software improvement projects
• Support system users and provide training where required
• Contribute to ongoing migration and integration projects across the business
• Assist with troubleshooting, issue investigation and continuous system improvement

• Commercial experience working with Proclaim at a technical/development level
• Experience with screen design, workflows, document templates and reporting within Proclaim
• Strong backend development experience using C#/.NET
• Experience working with SQL Server and T‑SQL
• Good understanding of integrations, databases and data structures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with end users and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team

• Salary ranging from £35,000 – £50,000 depending on experience
