Position: HGV Class 1 Driver (Days) Cat CE
Manpower are recruiting HGV Cat CE Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Northwich. Salary £38,670.53 per annum plus a Class 1 supplement of £1,439.88 Paid monthly Working Hours & Shift Pattern Start times between 3:00 AM and 7:00 AM Typical shifts are around 10 hours Average of 5 days per week , with up to 6 days out of 7 when required Working pattern covers Sunday to Saturday Average of 48 hours per week over a rolling 26-week reference period Maximum of 60 hours in a single week where required Fixed rota pattern with schedules published weekly , providing approximately one week's notice No overtime available Routes & Deliveries Long-distance routes covering areas from Glasgow to Essex Class 1 customer delivery work with multi-drop deliveries Following planned routes and schedules to provide consistent customer service Managing shop fixtures and deliveries in line with customer requirements

Key Responsibilities Deliver excellent customer service and act as a professional ambassador for the business Complete all paperwork and electronic documentation accurately Maintain vehicle cleanliness and personal presentation standards Ensure compliance with all transport legislation, including:
Tachograph regulations Working Time Directive (WTD) Driver CPC requirements Vehicle defect reporting Load security and weight checks Support regular and relief delivery routes as required Drive safely and professionally, adhering to the Highway Code and speed limits Champion Health & Safety standards at all times Requirements Valid Category CE (Class
