Multi Drop Delivery Van Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for several dedicated multi-drop van drivers to join the team.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday

Hours:

09:00am start Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour PAYE

Carlisle, CA6 4RD
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.

The role:

Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver parcels Drivers may be required to do door to door (50-100) or lockers (100) Positively representing the brand, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver. Safe loading and unloading of parcels on to a van. Delivery of products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set time frames.

Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation, if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care. Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver shipments Requirements: A valid UK driver's license. Multi- drop experience (preferable). Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Strong communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
