HGV Class 2 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Leicester area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 drivers to join the team.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 08:00am starts Pay Rates: £16.36 PAYE Per Hour

Leicester, LE3 Job Type: Temp to perm

The role:

6-8 deliveries and 4-5 collections Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations. Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring road worthiness and compliance with company standards. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.

Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Requirements:
Full UK licence with Class 2 entitlement (CAT

C) 1 year experience required Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation.
