About you:

Hold a Transport Manager CPC qualification Proven experience in a managerial role within the transport sector Strong knowledge of transport regulations and compliance standards Possess a category C  E driving license Excellent communicator with leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams Practical approach, highly organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel What you'll do:
Manage the day-to-day operations of transport across multiple depots Optimise route planning and scheduling for HGV vehicles Monitor driver hours, compliance, and adherence to legal standards like tachographs and driver regulations Support HR in driver inductions, appraisals, disciplinary procedures, and training Conduct investigations into driver misdemeanours and implement corrective actions Oversee vehicle maintenance, safety protocols, and ensure PPE and manuals are up to date Maintain compliance with H&S policies and administrative duties such as incident reporting and customer complaints Collaborate with senior logistics teams to improve policies and support departmental back-up needs For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
