As Senior Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high‑quality accounts preparation, financial reporting and general practice services.

• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for SMEs and OMBs
• Preparing management accounts and financial reports
• Supporting clients with bookkeeping, VAT returns and cloud accounting software
• Liaising directly with business owners and key stakeholders
• Assisting with tax compliance in collaboration with internal specialists
• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
• Supporting workflow management and meeting deadlines
• Identifying opportunities to add value through advisory support

To be considered for this Senior Accountant job in Newton Abbot, you will:

• Be ACA or ACCA qualified, part‑qualified or qualified by experience
• Have recent UK accountancy practice experience
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation
• Be confident managing your own client portfolio
• Possess strong communication and organisational skills
• Have experience reviewing or supporting junior staff
