Overview
As a Construction Management Degree Apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst you study towards a BSc Construction Site Management with our university partner, Sheffield Hallam, all tuition and accommodation fees covered by us.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, and supervision of construction projects, on time and to the required quality.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Assisting in the responsibility of a project section or work package where you'll manage the on‑site health, safety, and quality.
- Working alongside the wider construction teams and reporting on the progress of any projects, whilst also liaising with third parties such as councils, utilities, and sub‑contractors.
- Attending university during pre‑determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course.
Practical experience: gain valuable hands‑on experience in your field.
- Skill improvement: develop technical and professional skills.
- Networking: build professional relationships and expand your network.
- Career insight: gain insights into your chosen industry and potential career paths.
- 5 GCSE at Grade 4 or above including Maths and English.
- 2 A‑Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications (T‑Level, BTEC National Certificate / Diploma / Extended Diploma or Advanced Diploma).
- Other Level 3 BTEC qualifications may also be considered.
If you already hold a degree (or equivalent) related to this programme, then you will not be eligible for this apprenticeship due to funding regulations.
Application RequirementsTo apply as a mature student, you will need at least 5 years' experience in a related career. Disability Confident.
