Overview
Axcis Education are working with a fantastic independent special school who are seeking a full-time Trauma & Wellbeing Coach to join their team. This is a full time role, working 8.30‑16.00. Rate of pay varies from £95‑£110 a day, depending on previous experience and qualifications. This is a permanent position starting in January 2026.
The school caters for students aged 8‑16 with SEMH, ADHD and complex needs. With a recent site expansion, the school offers excellent facilities and a nurturing environment where students can thrive. Their curriculum is broad, creative, and designed to ignite passions and build confidence, helping young people prepare for adulthood and future employment.
This is a live position with the school interviewing candidates between 15th‑17th December.
Responsibilities- Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Using trauma‑informed approaches to help learners overcome barriers
- Promoting engagement, emotional resilience, and positive behaviour
- Working closely with staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Experience supporting young people with SEMH, ADHD, or other SEND needs
- Resilient, compassionate and patient individuals
- A driver with access to a car (ideal but not essential)
