Are you an experienced Classroom Assistant or Coach looking for flexible work in Brixham?

We are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools in the Brixham area on a day:to:day supply basis. This role is ideal for those who have a background in education and are looking for a competitive daily rate without the commitment of lesson planning or marking.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher. You will ensure that students stay on task with the work provided, maintain a calm learning environment, and manage classroom behaviour effectively.

• Leading lessons across various subjects for Key Stage 3 and 4 (Ages 11:16).
• Ensuring all students are engaged and following the schools behaviour policy.
• Collecting completed work and providing feedback to the department.
• Supporting the wider school community during the school day.

  Experience:
  
  Direct experience working in a UK classroom setting is essential (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor, or Sports Coach).
• Presence: A confident, professional manner and the ability to lead a group of 30 students.
• Reliability: A proactive approach to day:to:day supply bookings in the Brixham area.
• Compliance:
  An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness for one).
