Casual exam invigilation at South Devon UTC, covering busy exam periods only. The work is supervising students under strict exam protocols, distributing and collecting papers, and acting as scribe or reader for some candidates. Hours and dates vary and are negotiable, across October/November, January/February and April to June. An enhanced DBS check and right to work are needed, but prior experience is not, as training is given.

- Distribute and collect exam papers
- Supervise students during exams
- Ensure strict exam protocols are followed
- Act as scribe or reader for students where required
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Works independently
- Works as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS check
- Right to work in the UK
- Child protection screening appropriate to the post
- Checks with past employers
- Online check of publicly available information, including social media
- Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 exemption applies
- Previous experience of working with young people in an educational setting
- IT competency
- Holiday pay included in the hourly rate
