Design Engineer (Solid Works/Solid Edge CAD) Newton Abbot £42,500 to £47,500 In-House Training Career Progression Annual Bonus Are you a Design Engineer or similar, with experience using Solid Works or Solid Edge CAD, looking to join a close-knit and collaborative company, where you be able to support the full product lifecycle from early-stage concepts through to final design release, with clear progression paths to head of product development?
Do you want to be the technical go-to for all Design needs, working closely with other departments such as production, sales, and R&D, having a real impact on the company's product development and overall reputation in both UK and international markets? Founded 20 years ago, this family-owned business has grown to be an industry leader. In this role you will play a key role in the Design process from initial concept through to design release. You will be responsible for developing high-quality 3D models, assemblies, and engineering models, as well as playing a key role in prototype builds, testing, and validation of proposed products.
This role would suit a Product Design Engineer or similar, looking for an autonomous role where you will be the technical go-to for all company Design needs, at a family-owned manufacturing business, with the added benefits of in-house training on the company's expertise, career progression into senior roles, and an annual bonus.
