Planning Officer

Planning Officer needed in Newton Abbott Paying £35 per hr  Full time hours on a temporary basis Core Responsibilities Assessing and determining planning applications. Applying Local Plan policies, planning legislation and other material considerations. Managing a caseload effectively to meet performance targets. Preparing officer recommendations and committee reports. Negotiating with applicants to improve development proposals. Providing pre-application planning advice. Preparing appeal statements and representing the authority ducting site inspections and investigating planning-related complaints.
