Visits can range from 1 to 6 hours
, depending on the individual needs and preferences of the people we support.

We’re looking for people who are reliable, friendly, flexible and genuinely enjoy spending time with others
. Previous care experience isn't essential; what matters most is your attitude, patience and willingness to support people in a respectful and person-centred way.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Community Enabler, you'll support people aged 18+ to maintain their independence and stay connected with the people, places and activities that are important to them.

The people we support may have a range of needs and circumstances. This could include older people, young adults, people living with dementia, people with learning disabilities, or individuals who simply need some additional support to get out, stay active and maintain their independence.

A Role with Variety

One of the things that makes this role so rewarding is the variety.

You might spend part of your week supporting a young adult to attend a local club, another day helping an older person with a shopping trip, and another accompanying someone to an appointment or simply spending time together over a cup of coffee.

You may also support people living with dementia or learning disabilities
, helping them to remain active, confident and connected to their local community.

The role is about more than providing support; it’s about helping people remain independent, active and connected to their community.

Flexibility That Works Around You

We have part-time and full-time positions available
, with many visits taking place between 9am and 7pm
