Our client is a specialist road traffic law firm, providing expert legal advice and representation across all aspects of motoring offences and related matters. With a strong reputation in this niche yet dynamic area of practice, they are committed to delivering outstanding client service while supporting aspiring solicitors in building successful legal careers within motor defence law.

This Graduate Legal Trainee Programme is designed to offer structured, high-quality Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) over a two-year period, followed by comprehensive support to prepare for and complete the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE).

Over two years, you will:

• Gain hands‑on experience exclusively in road traffic law, working on matters such as drink driving offences, speeding, totting‑up disqualifications, and licence revocation appeals.
• Assist experienced solicitors with case preparation, legal research, drafting, advocacy preparation, and client consultations.
• Develop confidence in managing client relationships within a specialist, client‑focused practice.
• Receive ongoing mentorship, structured supervision, and regular performance feedback.
• Upon successful completion of your two‑year QWE, receive support and funding for SQE preparation courses and examination fees to enable you to qualify as a solicitor.

This programme offers a clear and supported pathway from graduate entry to solicitor qualification within a highly specialised area of law.

• Law graduates (or non‑law graduates who have completed the GDL or equivalent).
• Genuinely interested in pursuing a career in road traffic / motor defence law.
