Arcus is recruiting a part-time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Newton Abbot store on a permanent basis. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and Arcus offers various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Shifts include early morning, morning, afternoon and evening, with weekend work. The current pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 07:00 - 10:00
• Monday:
  Day Off
• Tuesday: 06:00 - 09:00
• Wednesday: 06:00 - 09:00
• Thursday: 06:00 - 09:00
• Friday: 06:00 - 09:00
• Saturday: 06:00 - 09:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for customers. Daily cleaning tasks will be carried out to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness within our Sainsbury’s stores. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping to keep stores clean
• Occasionally cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies
• Occasionally working outside to keep trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are applied

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; on-the-job training will be supplied
• An eye for detail and cleanliness
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of employment with us.
