Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Operatives, Manufacturing Operatives, Factory Operatives, and Machine Operators to join a leading manufacturing company based in Newton Abbot, Devon.

Key Duties

Operate CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality metal components.
Carry out basic welding and fabrication work.
Assemble and process manufactured products.
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
Carry out quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
Pack finished products ready for dispatch.
Follow production schedules and work instructions.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised manufacturing work area.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative, Machine Operator, CNC Operator, Assembly Operative, Engineering Operative, Warehouse Operative, General Operative, or within a manufacturing, production, factory, engineering, or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.
Experience operating machinery or CNC equipment would be beneficial.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong manual dexterity and practical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn new skills.
Manual handling experience is advantageous.

What We Offer

£12.71 per hour (Day Shift).
£13.71 per hour (Night Shift).
Overtime available, earning up to £18.16 per hour.

Shift Options

Day

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6am-4pm.
