Production Technician | Manufacturing Operative | Assembly Operative | Engineering Operative

Newton Abbot (Heathfield) | £12.71 per hour | Monday to Friday | 39 Hours per Week | Temporary to Permanent

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer based in Newton Abbot for a Production Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Technician, Manufacturing Operative, Production Operative, Assembly Operative, Engineering Operative, Factory Operative or Mechanical Assembler to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business.

Key Duties
  • Manufacture specialist engineered components and systems.
  • Carry out production, manufacturing and assembly duties to a high standard.
  • Braze and solder a variety of metal components.
  • Form, bend and shape metal tubing.
  • Complete wet spray painting of engineered components.
  • Carry out silicone moulding and coating processes.
  • Assemble components using engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Pack and prepare finished products for dispatch.
  • Carry out quality inspections while supporting ISO quality standards.
  • Work across multiple production and manufacturing areas to achieve production targets.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, engineering, factory or assembly environment is advantageous, although full training will be provided.
  • Experience with brazing or soldering is beneficial.
  • Experience with pipe or tube bending is desirable.
  • Experience with wet spray painting is advantageous.
