Quality Assurance Coordinator Required!

Recruit Easy is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to work for our client located in Heathfield, Newton, Devon.

Duration: Permanent

Start Date: 15-07-2026

Pay Rate: 27,000 Per Year – paid weekly.

Job Role s:

• Carry out daily, weekly and monthly quality assurance and procedural checks.
• Ensure GMP, hygiene standards and environmental monitoring requirements are consistently maintained.
• Support the Technical Manager with third‑party, customer and regulatory audits.
• Assist with the company's transition to BRCGS accreditation.
• Manage environmental swabs, hand swabs and water sampling for microbiological analysis.
• Maintain retained sample systems, including logging, storage, organisation and disposal.
• Conduct daily laboratory equipment and temperature checks.
• Carry out laboratory analyses including:
  Brix, pH, ABV, Density, SO₂.
• Distribute, collate, check and file quality documentation.
• Work closely with production teams to investigate quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or Technical role within a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMP and allergen management.
• Excellent understanding of food safety and quality management systems.
• Experience supporting audits and compliance activities would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
