3.5T Driver

Our client is seeking a reliable and professional 3.5t Driver to join there team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely arrivals and excellent customer service to customers in the local area.

• Safely operate company vehicles, transport, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Assisting load and unloading goods, with proper handling techniques to prevent injury.
• Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed off as required.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times.
• Assist in warehouse tasks when necessary, including inventory management and stock organisation.

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments is essential.
• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or lorries is required.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and heavy lifting procedures is desirable.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items safely. This role offers an excellent opportunity for organised individuals with a passion for driving and delivering exceptional service.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm. (With the occasional Saturday).
