Salary: £37,340.16 per year, paid weekly every Friday.
Hours:
Full-time, Thursday to Monday. Shift length: 8 to 10 hours per day. Start time: 5 am.
Regular Tuesday and Wednesday days off. Early starts may be required.

The Role
You will be carrying out customer deliveries across the region, working from a depot in Newton Abbot. The role involves driving a Category C Class 2 HGV vehicle, completing deliveries professionally and keeping accurate records throughout the day.
This role is best suited to an experienced driver who is confident working independently after induction and comfortable working as part of a busy transport and logistics operation.
Duties- Driving a Category C Class 2 HGV vehicle safely and professionally.
- Completing customer deliveries across the region.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
- Following drivers’ hours regulations and tachograph rules.
- Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle documentation.
- Following company health and safety procedures.
- Providing a good level of customer service during deliveries.
- Working reliably across a Thursday to Monday shift pattern.
- Full UK Category C Class 2 HGV driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 2 driving experience.
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport legislation.
- Reliability and confidence working in a busy delivery environment.
- Ability to work Thursday to Monday, including weekend shifts.
- Knowledge of South Devon delivery routes.
- Previous experience in distribution or logistics.
- Awareness of manual handling procedures.
- £37,340.16 per year.
