Class 2 Driver

Are you an experienced Class 2/7.5T Driver looking for a change? Would you like to work for a market leading company with fantastic benefits? If so, we have a great opportunity for you!, Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in full compliance with road traffic and vehicle legislation and ensuring the vehicle and stock are always properly secured
Deliver products ensuring all items are handled correctly, some hand balling/heavy lifting involved
Collect and accurately log product returns during deliveries
Complete tachographs in compliance with legal and company requirements. Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and promptly report any defects
A full UK driving licence with category Class 2 or 7.5T grandfather entitlement
A valid Driver Qualification Card and valid Digital Tachograph Card
No more than 6 current penalty points
No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
Excellent Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2/7.5T Delivery Driver, to join our Home Delivery team in Bedford, MK43 0ZY
.
You'll be working on a full time, permanent basis, 48 hours per week, 4 out of 6 days with the start time window between 05:00 and 07:00, flexibility required for earlier start times when needed. You will be responsible for delivering products to customer premises. All successful candidates will require a DBS clearance.
