Drivers Mate

£12.71 per hour, 45 hours per week over 4 days. Job and Finish, so guaranteed pay until the end of your shift if your work is completed earlier. Overtime and extra shifts are available and paid at time and a half. ArrowXL is now recruiting for Drivers Mate to join our great transport team, situated at our Inverness site operating on a 4/7 shift pattern.

• Full accountability and care for your vehicle
• Checking receipt of all relevant paperwork
• Transporting customer items safely and free from damage
• Delivering a variety of items to customers’ room of choice
• Assembling and/or installing customer products – but don’t worry, we will provide you will all the necessary training for this
• Working as a team
• Keeping the customer up to date on delivery progress and resolving any customer questions or concerns
• Informing the depot of any delays
• Representing ArrowXL to the highest standard

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritise
• Health and Safety for yourself and your colleagues
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• A reliable, punctual, and flexible approach
• Ability to handle heavy and bulky items
• Experience of working as a Delivery Driver or as a Drivers Mate is desirable
