Counter Balance​/Flexi FLT Driver

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for FLT Operatives, who hold both Counterbalance & Flexi/Bendi licences to work for our client based in Newton Aycliffe. Our client is a global chemical company.

This role is a long-term assignment for the right candidates.

• Operating Counter Balance FLT, Flexi/Bendi trucks.
• Loading and unloading vehicles, picking stock and general housekeeping.
• Navigating through small spaces and tight areas so attention to detail is vital.
• Abiding by strict company Health and Safety policies.

• Counter Balance, Flexi/Bendi FLT licence required – must be RTITB/ITSSAR accredited.
• SAP knowledge is preferred or experience with working with handheld devices.
• Physically fit as the role will involve manual handling.
• Able to work under own initiative or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a can-do positive attitude.

• 1st week is training week: 08:00am‑16:00pm.
• From the 2nd week you will then be on a rotating shift.
• Earlies – 06:00am – 16:00pm.
• Backs – 10:00am – 18:00pm.
