CNC Machinist (4 day week)

£35,000 - £40,000 + Training + Progression + Day Shifts + Evening Shifts + Shift Allowance + 4 Day Week

Boasting state‑of‑the‑art CNC machinery to keep up with demand, this is a great opportunity for someone to join a growing and dominating CNC workshop which you can be trained in programming.

In this role you will be working with multi‑axis Heidenheim and Fanuc mills and controls. You will be setting and operating the milling machines in a workshop environment while quality checking your work, troubleshooting and making any adjustments to the machines. The schedule is Monday‑Thursday on a 2‑week rotating shift schedule (Week 1: 7 am‑3:30 pm; Week 2: 2:30 pm‑3:30 am) with a 21 % shift allowance on the late‑night shifts.

• Setting and operating Heidenheim and Fanuc machinery
• Training on programming the machinery
• Mandated Monday‑Thursday schedule with 2‑week rotation
• 21 % hourly rate boost on 2:30 pm‑3:30 am shifts

• Miller machinists with experience on Heidenheim and Fanuc controls
• 3‑, 4‑, and 5‑axis experience
• Willingness to commute to the workshop in Shildon
