Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. is searching for Welders. As a Welder, you will use drawings or work orders using semi-automatic and mechanized welding equipment to fabricate and repair wind tower sections. You may also be required to inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and perform routine preventative maintenance of equipment. Weld Process Certification Training is provided with eligible background and experience.

Proficiently perform welding on wind tower sectionsMaintain attendance within acceptable standardsWhat you’ll need:
Experience:
1 Year Welding in GMAW, FCAW, SAW, or SMAWTechnical
Skills:- Read Tape Measure
- General tool usage including hand tools, torches, and grinders
Preferred Education:
High School Diploma or GEDRead, write, and speak proficiently in EnglishFollow directionsEffective interpersonal communicator, good listener and open to feedbackDesire to learnTeam playerFlexibleAttention to detailInterest and aptitude in technologyDependable and punctualStrong work ethicAdaptableGood social skillsProblem SolvingTime ManagementResourcefulnessWorking Conditions:
Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays.Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.Safety Activities:
Be aware of and observe all safety practices, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety boots, hearing protection, etc. as required.Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.As an important member of the team, you will be responsible for:
