Newton Village, a Cassia community, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.

This position is part-time with the opportunity to increase hours and transition to full-time for candidates interested in additional shifts. We are offering a $5,000 bonus!

Part-Time (opportunity to pick up additional hours if desired)

10:00pm to 6:00am

• Display a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff
• Administer medications and/or treatment in accordance with physician's orders and monitor for effectiveness/response
• Manage medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures
• Document resident care using computerized medication administration and charting software
• Notify Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and take follow-up action as necessary
• Performs additional duties as required

• Must have a current Iowa LPN license and be in good standing.
• CPR certification or willing to obtain
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team
