What Happens in Donations Anyway?
  • Receive donations from donors
  • Track and weigh donations that we collect – we gotta know so we can give back!
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Share information about our charity partners and our mission with our donors and customers
  • Work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditions
  • Work safely and efficiently in loading and unloading trailers and donation boxes
  • Help to sustain and maintain donation trailer site and donation boxes for donation collections

Our donations team works together to take great care of items provided by our donors and provide excellent treasures for our customers. Whether we are collecting items at our store donation sites or at home pickups, we combine our passion for donors and community service in all that we do.

Job Duties
  • Accept donated clothing, shoes, and household goods through the drive‑thru at our Fixed Donation Center.
  • Engage with donors and communicate the impact donating has on our community, partners, and planet.
  • Interact with truck drivers and other team members to organize and recycle donations in an indoor and outdoor situation.
  • Help sustain and maintain a clean and orderly Fixed Donation Center, based on company operational standards.
  • Work safely and efficiently in loading and unloading donor vehicles and box trucks.
  • Possess the ability to regularly work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditions.
  • Loading and unloading carts.
  • Inspecting and sorting clothing, shoes, and other items.
  • Prepping and organizing products for recycling.
  • Other duties may be assigned by a working supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Able to understand and execute company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong ability to prioritize.
  • Capable of building and sustaining relationships with peers, management, and donors.
  • Able to accurately keep records and communicate progress to management.
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple activities at one time.
