We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Therapy Team at NMC Health. In this hospital‑based role, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high‑quality therapy services in the outpatient setting. Your expertise and compassionate care will support recovery and improve quality of life for our patients as they heal.

• Evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans
• Providing evidence‑based physical therapy services to inpatients and other designated levels of care
• Supervising and guiding supportive staff and therapy students
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Documenting treatments, progress, and care plans in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participating in safety procedures, quality improvement activities, and department initiatives

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Kansas
• Must have, or immediately obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and maintain it
• Previous inpatient or hospital experience preferred, but not required
• Member of APTA and/or KPTA preferred
• Must know principles and practice of Physical Therapy; be familiar with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics; be familiar with department/organization policies, procedures and regulations; be aware of inter‑department/organization communications; be able to apply supervision and management techniques
• Must be able to apply the theory of physical therapy; have the ability and competency to operate equipment of their position; be able to perform technical procedures; be able to speak intelligently and professionally before others; demonstrate supervision and management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
