Telemetry Aide (Part Time)
Location: Medical Center - 600 Medical Center Drive, Newton, KS, 67114

• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and identify abnormalities
• Recognize changes in patient condition and promptly communicate findings
• Utilize clinical observations and assessments to support patient safety
• Maintain accurate monitoring and documentation
• Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to support quality patient care
• Provide clear, professional communication in a fast-paced clinical environment

This is a part-time position on NMC Health’s Medical Unit consisting of three 8-hour shifts per week
(2 shifts from 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. and 1 shift from 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.).

High School Diploma required

Cardiac monitoring experience preferred

Knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients, nursing staff, and physicians

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public

Strong attention to detail and ability to respond quickly to changing patient conditions

Effective verbal communication and teamwork skills

Certified Nurse Aide certification preferred (not required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
