RN House Supervisor (Part Time)

NMC Health is in need of an RN House Supervisor. In this role, you will collaborate with Nursing Units and Nursing Leadership to provide leadership to our team and play a vital role in the everyday operations throughout NMC Health. This role ensures that high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit are followed. We are looking for a highly professional RN who is comfortable reassuring families and communicating with doctors as well as tending to the needs of patients and staff, we encourage you to apply!

This is a part-time position. One 12-hour shift per week. 7p-7a.

Education and experience:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Minimum of 3 years RN experience preferred
• 1 year of Charge/Supervisory RN experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and abilities:

• Skills in performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities required.
• Skills in interpersonal relationships with the ability to get along with diverse personalities and ability to be tactful, mature, and flexible required.
• Skills in reasoning, problem-solving, making effective decisions and using sound judgement required.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing required.
• Ability to use tact, diplomacy and professionalism in all aspects of the position required.

Licensure, registration and certification:

• Active RN License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required upon hire
• Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) required upon hire
• Certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
