We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team. In this vital role, you’ll support surgical patients before, during, and after procedures—ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes every step of the way.

• Preparing operating rooms and surgical equipment for procedures
• Providing perioperative nursing care, including pre‑op assessment and post‑op evaluation
• Assisting surgical teams by managing sterile fields and ensuring proper instrumentation
• Monitoring patient status and responding to changes during procedures
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure seamless care
• Educating patients and families on surgical processes and recovery expectations
• Supporting and mentoring fellow team members as needed

As an OR nurse at NMC Health, you’ll combine critical thinking, technical expertise, and compassionate care in a setting where teamwork and patient safety are top priorities. You’ll be part of a high‑performing team dedicated to making a meaningful impact every day.

• Associate degree (ADN) from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing or diploma in nursing required
• Bachelor's degree (BSN) from ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing preferred

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas
• Certification in CPR/Basic Life Support
• Additional certifications may be necessary, dependent on the unit assigned
