We are currently seeking aRegistered Nurse (RN)to join ourHome Care Servicesteam in apart-timecapacity. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality nursing care in a home setting, helping patients recover, manage chronic conditions, and maintain independence—all with the compassion and professionalism that define NMC Health.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patient and family needs
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Providing direct nursing care and health education in the home environment
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate services
- Delegating tasks and supporting other team members in patient care
Your strong clinical skills, empathy, and ability to work independently will allow you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and families. As part of a collaborative care team, you’ll play a vital role in extending NMC Health’s compassionate care beyond hospital walls.
Qualifications Education and experience- Computer knowledge required
- Works independently and takes initiative on behalf of the patient
- Demonstrates accountability and responsibility for safe patient care
- Minimum 1 year of home health experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical experience preferred
- Associate degree (ADN) or bachelor's degree (BSN) from ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas
- Certification in CPR/Basic Life Support
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
