Overview

PHARMACY/CLERK at Kroger (Dillons, Hutchinson, KS). Provide exceptional customer service to help people live healthier lives by treating customers and employees fairly and ethically, maintaining a safe, clean, inclusive environment, and delivering the right products, services, and care at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. • Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.
• Comply with and reinforce safety, sanitation, and health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
• Maintain departmental standards by keeping work stations and customer areas clean and organized.
• Understand and follow guidelines on computerized inventory management, control, and ordering of non-legend drugs; complete inventory control including shelf maintenance.
• Answer phones, triage calls, and respond to inquiries as appropriate.
• Promote sales and services to customers and store associates.
• Adhere to guidelines on accepting and tendering vendor coupons, cash shortages, and shrink guidelines.
• Operate the cash register and follow cashier policies; process payments (Credit/Debit, EBT, Gift Cards) and cash/cheque transactions.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently performing all steps of release to patient and product dispensing, if allowed by state law.
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflicts in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner; act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues; provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

MINIMUM

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to handle confidential information

DESIRED

• Any previous comparable experience
• Experience with customer service, including registries, phone, and cashier
• Experience with inventory control in a retail environment
