Job Description Summary
TThe Corporate Accountant will support the company’s financial integrity by performing core accounting activities, ensuring accurate reporting, and helping drive continuous process improvements. They will work closely with cross-functional partners and play an important part in our month-end close, audit preparation, and overall financial operations. This position will work closely with the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting and requires excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
A working knowledge of the office processes and related computer software tools are essential.
This role is 3 days in office and two days remote.
Job Description Responsibilities- Prepare monthly accrual, prepaid, and reclassification entries within corporate entities
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany accounts, prepaids and accrual schedules
- Assist with other account-level or departmental entries and reconciliations, as necessary
- Basic understanding of GAAP accounting and general ledger process
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Must be PC proficient and familiar with excel functions (pivot tables, lookups)
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and processes
Strong ability to compile, organize, and analyze financial data - Attention to detail and troubleshooting skills are essential
- Work closely with FP&A to support budget and forecast activities
- Assist with Corporate Accounting AP workflow processes
- Review and code checks for deposit to ensure accurate general ledger classification
- Understanding of the financial statements, including intercompany accounting between corporate entities and the hotels
- Assist with allocations of expenses across the hotel portfolio
- Perform ad hoc projects as needed
$33.00 to $38.00 hourly. Base pay offer may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific/overall experience.
