Project Accountant

Our client is hiring a Project Accountant to support project setup, billing cycles, and ongoing financial coordination across multiple active construction projects. This onsite role works closely with project managers and accounting to keep processes moving, documentation accurate, and deadlines met.

$90,000–$125,000

• Manage project setup and maintain critical project documentation/workflows
• Drive monthly billing and reporting timelines; follow up with stakeholders to hit deadlines
• Coordinate project kickoff/closeout meetings and distribute meeting notes
• Support owner billing coordination including calendars, templates, and recurring check-ins
• Assist with change processing and financial tracking across the project lifecycle
• Partner cross-functionally with operations/accounting to keep projects on track

• Bachelor’s degree strongly encouraged
• 2–5+ years accounting experience in architecture, engineering, or construction required
• Strong organization, attention to detail, urgency, and ability to juggle priorities
• Microsoft Office proficiency including Excel
• Onsite Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week with flexible hours; summer Fridays end at 2 PM
