Job Purpose
This strategic role leads the design and development of engaging, inclusive, and effective learning experiences across multiple formats—including eLearning, video, photography, and other multimedia assets. The Senior Manager collaborates with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and creative teams to deliver impactful training solutions that align with Panera's business goals and values. This role also champions innovation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement in learning design.
Duties & Responsibilities- Serve as lead instructional designer for cross-functional working groups.
- Design end-to-end learning strategies using instructional design theories and methods.
- Develop multimedia learning assets including interactive eLearning, gamified content, video, photography, and audio.
- Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to ensure content relevance and effectiveness.
- Manage all stages of multimedia production: conceptualization, scheduling, production, and delivery.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness using data and learner feedback; iterate based on insights.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in instructional design and media production.

- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Media Production, Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, media production and eLearning development
- Demonstrated success in designing and delivering multimedia learning content
- Mastery of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and rapid authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360)
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transport media equipment
This is a hybrid role is based in the Newton, MA Support Center. Occasional overnight travel is required.
Salary:$104,942-$146,918
