Activity Specialist – 3D Printing
JCC Greater Boston seeks an enthusiastic Activity Specialist to lead engaging 3D printing activities for children in grades K‑5 at School Break Camps (December, February, Passover, April). Specialists create safe, inclusive, and fun program areas where kids explore, grow, and build confidence.
What you will do:
- Plan, prepare, and lead age‑appropriate 3D printing activities and challenges that guide camper learning.
- Adapt activities to meet the needs of diverse campers while keeping the lab safe, engaging, and fun.
- Support camp operations: transitions, special events, and overall camper experience.
- Maintain, organize, and request necessary supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with counselors and camp leadership to provide a cohesive, positive camper experience.

Requirements
- High school diploma preferred; college degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- 1+ summer camp season or equivalent experience planning and leading activities for children.
- Passion and expertise in 3D printing or STEM activities.
- Excellent group management, communication, teamwork, and safety awareness.
- Positive, energetic attitude and commitment to fostering an inclusive camp environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 30–40 pounds, sit, kneel, and move children safely.
- Ability to swim and supervise children in the pool.
