Required:

• Must be pursuing master’s or PhD level degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Outstanding academic background with a demonstrated record for high-impact research is required.
• Hands-on experience in assembly and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.
• Demonstrated CAD (Solid Works) proficiency.
• Experience using analytical and simulation tools including MATLAB, Simulink, and Sim Scape.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools and methods.
• Proficient in testing sensors and actuators using Simulink Realtime.
• Self-motivated, organized, able to multitask, and comfortable with aggressive deadlines.

• As a R&D Mechatronics Graduate Co-op, you will be responsible to:
• Support the R&D group in the conceptualization and application of new technologies.
• Apply analytical methodologies including mathematical and numerical modeling and simulations to design, development, and optimization of state-of-the-art mechanical systems.
• Design electromechanical fixtures to assist test operations and assembly.
• Test new or existing products in the development cycle to characterize performance, effectively interpret and communicate results.
• Develop and revise test protocols, test reports, assembly procedures, and work instructions.
• Document the results and present them in meetings.
