OverviewThe Tax Intern will provide support to a fast-paced and collaborative Tax team at a company with a diverse portfolio of business.
Responsibilities- Assist with management of tax compliance co-source arrangement.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly tax analyses.
- Assist with tax related projects.
- Provide reception desk coverage on a rotating basis.
Assist with sales and use tax filings and related audits for each of our managed companies.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Currently a student at an accredited college or university.
- Accounting or related degree, minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Previous office experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Excellent client service orientation.
- Not eligible for course credit.
Interns working at least 21 hours per week are eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan.
The estimated compensation range for this position is $24 to $30 per hour. RMR considers several components including an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and market data.
