The City of Newton seeks a seasoned Comptroller to manage the General Ledger, oversee financial reporting, and coordinate with external auditors to complete the annual ACFR. You will supervise the accounting staff and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, five years of municipal accounting experience, strong MUNIS and Excel skills, and decisive leadership to maintain accurate, timely financial reporting for the City.
