Position Overview
The Wellness Screener role at VPNE involves conducting health screenings for employees, visitors, and patients. This includes taking temperature readings, administering health questionnaires, and providing information on health and safety protocols.
Responsibilities- Conduct health screenings for employees, visitors, and patients using established protocols, including taking temperature readings, administering health questionnaires, and providing guidance on health and safety protocols.
- Review screening results and determine appropriate next steps, such as referring individuals to a healthcare provider, isolating them for observation, or denying access to the facility.
- Ensure confidentiality of all health-related information obtained during screening activities.
- Provide education on health and safety protocols, including proper hand hygiene, social distancing, and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all screening activities, including tracking the number of individuals screened, their screening results, and any follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and facility staff to follow all health and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively, providing clear and accurate information about the screening process and results while screening people.
- Educational Requirements:
High School or GED - Years of
Experience:
Entry Level - Language
Skills:
Proficient in English, both verbally and written
- You must be 18 or older to apply.

- Ability to create relationships with customers
- Organization and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively maneuver around various locations both inside and outside while engaging in bending, prolonged standing, running, and prolonged sitting in all weather conditions
- Ability to receive medical and security clearance for one or more locations
- Possess the manual dexterity to operate essential office equipment, including computers.
- Possess the mental acuity to read thermometers and give clear and concise information to patients.
