American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health float position requiring 1 year of travel experience and 1 year of home care experience.
Requirements- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required if applicable; MA Conditional licenses not accepted
- Minimum 1 year of travel experience required
- Minimum 1 year of home care experience required
- AHA certifications only
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Home health setting providing physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence
- Covers North Region locations including Arlington, Everett, Malden, Medford, West Medford, Melrose, and Somerville
- Patients range in age from birth to over 100 years with physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities
- Schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 13-week assignment length
- Requires ability to travel to patient cases as assigned
- Uses Epic for charting
- Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to identify needs and coordinate care
- Perform thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication per agency policies and standards of practice
- Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
- Parking is not validated at Boston locations; public transportation or public parking lots are available with daily rates ranging from $17-$22
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
