About Good Shepherd Community Hospice
Named by the Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last three years, our community‑based, mission‑driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks an Admissions Nurse Liaison (ANL) to join its expanding Intake and Admissions team. Travel is required for this position. Care is provided in patient’s private homes and residential facilities throughout Greater Boston and parts of the Metrowest.
Responsibilities- Ensure a comprehensive and smooth admission process for patients admitted to Good Shepherd Community Hospice.
- Provide explanation of hospice services to patients, families and referral sources.
- Conduct clinical assessments and coordinate admissions.
- Maintain professional relationships with referral sources and Good Shepherd clinical staff.
Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm (40 hours).
Skills,Education and Experience
- Licensed by the Commonwealth of MA as a Registered Nurse.
- At least two years of experience preferred in community health, oncology, hospice, or palliative care.
- Highly skilled at providing patient assessments and evaluations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with hospital staff, Good Shepherd colleagues, patients, their families and referral sources.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Competency with accepted standards of hospice nursing practice.

$89,000 – $106,000:
This number reflects an average starting range for this position. Individual pay is determined through a variety of factors including experience, education, certifications, and skills and can exceed the starting range.
