Overview
Cantonese or Mandarin-speaking Hospice Nurse with a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Full-time position with local travel to patients’ private homes and residential facilities throughout Greater Boston and parts of Metro West. Schedule is 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities- Responsible for patients’ comprehensive plans of care, including collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and other health care providers/facilities to ensure smooth coordination of care.
- Provide clinical assessment of patients’ ADLs, functional, psychological, and environmental needs.
- Implement and monitor aspects of patient care, including managing discomfort and symptom relief.
- Consult with and educate patients, families and community health care professionals about hospice care, terminal disease, self-care techniques and end-of-life processes.
The position requires 40 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.
Education, Skills And Experience- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Massachusetts
- Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin
- Sensitivity and understanding of end-of-life issues
- Experience in a community health, hospice, oncology or related field preferred but not required; comprehensive job training will be provided
- Demonstrated assessment skills for pain management and symptom control
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

$84,000 – $104,000; this reflects an average starting range. Individual pay is determined by experience, education, certifications, and skills and can exceed the starting range.
