Registered Nurse - Cardiac Rehab; Per Diem

The Registered Nurse in Cardiac Rehab provides clinical care to patients recovering from cardiac events or diseases. This role is ideal for nurses who are skilled in telemetry monitoring, patient education, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Pay: $41 - $100/hour
• Location: Newton, MA
• Facility: Newton-Wellesley Hospital
• Department/Unit: Cardiac Rehabilitation
• Schedule: Per Diem

• Monitor telemetry and vital signs during exercise.
• Conduct group patient education sessions.
• Complete individualized treatment plans.
• Perform physical assessments and evaluations of patients.
• Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to adverse events.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care.
• Oversee other assigned team members.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient care (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).

• Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing strongly preferred

• 3 years of Critical Care experience required within the past 5 years
• Previous cardiac rehab experience preferred

• Registered Nurse MA State License required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
