Floor Manager – Ted Baker

United Legwear & Apparel Co. is seeking a dedicated Floor Manager to support and supervise the general operations of the store team at the Bloomingdale’s concession. The Floor Manager will assist customers, resolve inquiries promptly, delegate tasks, and monitor team performance. The ideal candidate will oversee KPIs, respond to sales trends, and provide strong leadership and support to the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager.

• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with host store collaborators.

• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of products, including the 6 C’s (Color, Composition, Cost, Care, Cut).
• Educate team on key trends and bestsellers to maximize sales and customer loyalty.
• Support merchandising, replenishment, and housekeeping standards.
• Understand stock routines and manage inventory effectively, liaising with Managers to keep the floor commercially driven.

• Maximize sales potential by ensuring adherence to Ted’s training requirements.
• Promote enthusiasm and consistency in key account management.
• Leverage local customer insights to deliver an effective sales environment with the Store Manager.
• Interpret and act on location performance data to support KPI achievement.
• Drive brand promotion, marketing activities, and campaigns to the team and customers.
• Encourage use of database building and clienteling for B‑Connected performance.
• Maintain competitive awareness and communicate findings to management.
• Assist in controlling the P&L budget and identifying opportunities for improved performance.

• Provide daily operations leadership in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Delegate tasks efficiently and provide timely feedback on completion and issues.
• Follow all health and safety policies, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Apply loss prevention measures and report theft or misuse of company property.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, banking procedures, and prompt discrepancy resolution.
• Support management in executing all communications and directives.

• Experience as a Floor Supervisor/Keyholder or in a similar retail management role, preferably in fashion.
• Strong leadership and team‑management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Open availability for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Analytical mindset for interpreting sales data and creating actionable strategies.
• Knowledge of retail operations, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
• Passion for fashion and the Ted Baker brand.
• Thriving in a fast‑paced, multi‑priority environment.

Employees will walk and stand for extended periods, use hands for handling and manipulating products, type and use electronic systems, and engage in customer communication. Tasks may include stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Lifting, pulling, pushing, or moving up to 40 pounds is required. The role is onsite in a fast‑paced retail setting, often with high noise levels.
