• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash registers and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., proactive help, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied).
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers.
• Recommend items for sale, trade‑ups, and companion items.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well merchandised, and inventory‑tracked. Take inventory and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as directed.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, supervisory, and sale merchandise. Complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with food separation and placement per policies, use FIFO for stock rotation.
• Maintain knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo services, poster print and creative machine, and promotional photo product sales.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities (monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, fill orders, deliver orders to customers as they arrive).
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

• Basic: Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: At least six months of experience in a retail environment. Prior work experience with Walgreens. Fluency in English. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
