Job Overview
We are seeking a Pilates Instructor in Newton, MA to teach private and semi‑private lessons in a state‑of‑the‑art Pilates Studio. Daytime, weekend, and evening hours are available.

Responsibilities- Develop safe, effective, and innovative Pilates training programs for each client.
- Conduct initial client assessments and goal setting.
- Instruct private and semi‑private sessions, including duets and trios.
- Complete all client‑management administrative requirements.
- Act as a wellness role model and leader in line with Pilates certification and scope of practice.
- Share responsibility for equipment cleaning.
- Create a welcoming dynamic for all participants.
- Participate as an essential member of the Health and Wellness team.
- Support JCC Greater Boston’s mission, vision, and values through role modeling.
- Commit to providing excellent customer service.
- Uphold JCC policies and procedures, reporting incidents and concerns to supervisors.
- Attend JCCGB meetings as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
This is a limited part‑time, non‑exempt position (initially 5‑20 hours per week). The pay rate is $55.00–$65.00 per session, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Requirements- CPR/AED certification.
- National Pilates certification.
- Comprehensive training and experience in Reformer, Mat, etc.
- Strong customer‑service experience and relationship‑building skills.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Self‑starter who takes initiative.
- Superb interpersonal and active listening skills.
- Works well independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Must be able to work in a fast‑paced, busy environment.
- Position requires sitting, standing, and walking throughout the building.
- Routinely lifts, carries, and moves objects up to 45 pounds.
