Job Description
Our Chestnut Hill location is seeking Cycling Instructors. We offer various categories of cycling to meet our diverse members' needs. Our Equinox Cycle Pro (ECP) training program prepares experienced instructors for success with our methods.
After completing the ECP program, instructors will be able to:
- Deliver the Equinox experience to members in each class
- Follow class descriptions and adjust intensity as needed
- Start and end classes on time
- Assist members with bike technical/mechanical issues
- Teach classes regularly with minimal substitutions
- Communicate with Group Fitness Managers regarding feedback, equipment, scheduling, and substitutions
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
- A current cycling certification (Schwinn or Stages preferred); certification is not required to audition but must be obtained before teaching
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Knowledge of basic anatomy, kinesiology, exercise modifications, and ACSM guidelines
- A eagerness to learn and pursue professional development
- A friendly, vibrant, and outgoing personality
