Compensation: $20–$24 per hour based on experience

Schedule:

Part-time
• After school
• Evening shifts
• Year-round

Schedule details:
Tuesday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM. No weekends required. Optional Sunday shifts (12 PM – 4 PM) starting in the New Year

Job Summary:

British Swim School of Newton is seeking year-round Swim Instructors for our after-school program at the YMCA Wells Ave location. This is a long-term, meaningful position where you will help children build water safety, confidence, and lifelong swim skills.

• Teach small-group swim lessons to ages 3 months–17 years
• Use our gentle, play-based survival swim curriculum
• Encourage students, track progress, and maintain safety
• Interact professionally with families
• Bring positive energy to each shift

• Comfortable in the water
• Friendly, upbeat, and enjoy working with children
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work Tue–Fri 3:30–7:30 PM
• Coachable and eager to learn

• Experience with children
• Swim team or aquatics experience
• CPR/First Aid or Lifeguard background
• Customer service experience
